About Us
Eighteen Years of Building What Iraq Needs Next
IRES Constructions Contracting is a self-performing construction contractor headquartered in Basra, delivering infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects nationwide.
Our Story
IRES began in 2008 as a civil works subcontractor on reconstruction projects in southern Iraq. Project by project, we invested earnings into people and plant — first our own concrete fleet, then cranes and transport, then a steel fabrication shop that has grown into a dedicated division.
Today IRES employs over 1,200 people directly, operates yards in Basra, Baghdad and Erbil, and holds prequalifications with ministries, developers and international operators. Self-performance remains the core of how we work: when the workforce, equipment and fabrication are ours, so is the accountability.

Mission
To deliver construction works safely, on schedule and to international standards — creating lasting value for our clients and skilled employment for Iraqi communities.
Vision
To be Iraq's most trusted self-performing contractor — the first name on the bid list for complex infrastructure and steel structure projects.
